    Hi all,
I don't think it does..it gives a fantastic, gobb-smacking,unbelievable image, even at this Texan-lovin size.
Just had a blast of moto gp on the X-box, and the bikes are nearly life-size! got to go now as Godzilla's on the dvd at the moment ,and yes, you've guessed it.....he's nearly as big as the bloody house:eek:
All of this for the same price some people pay for a 32" television
    Regards. Roger

Liverpool - I'll try to post some when I get home tonight. They'll be digital camera shots taken (more or less) in the dark, so they'll be a little grainy, but should give you an idea of what to expect. Let's see.... Halo, MotoGP, FIFA, Apex, and Aquilla should do it. Although there is a significant risk that I forget about the camera and just play all night ;)

But I second Roger's opinion - when I play XBox I increase my screen size as far as it'll go, resulting in nearly 9 feet across which is.... [gets calculator] 124 inches diagonally. I certainly wouldn't want to watch movies at that size, as the image definitely doesn't look as good as it does at a more reasonable size, but for games it's just fab. I'm sitting about 10-11 feet away, and at this size the screen door is pretty obvious. But for games I don't really mind it.

Of course, this is on a white painted wall, so I got the flexibility to alter the screen size. Which is actually really cool - worth the slight loss in image quality compared to a screen IMO.

That real good of you thanks.
I will have a 6ft wide Draper screen to watch dvds & games on:)
That will be big enough for me & i'll be sitting 11ft away so hopefully on a screen that size & sitting that far away i won't see any screen door.

Can't wait to see the pictures of halo tonight:smashin:

    Bums...

I don't have a website to post them on at the moment. If you PM me with an email addy I can send them. I have to reduce the size to 300 pixels across to include them in this thread - like the attached image.

I need to play with the camera settings cos they're all a bit blurry (could be me shaking with the camera as I've just got back from a run :)) and blueish. I'll try to get some decent Halo shots - the ones I took kinda sucked as I was in a hurry.

I need to pop out for a bit, but I'll have another crack at getting some decent pics after dinner.

Oh, and the image here is about 8 feet wide, taken from about 10 feet away (sitting in a chair just below the centre of the image, hence the shape)

    Right...

One more beer and I'll go get some decent ones :)

I emailed the dodgy ones anyway (to you and Captain B), but take them with a pinch of salt - my 'leet camera skillz' aren't all they should be ;)

OK - i just re-sent the halo pics. And yes, the graphics in World Racing really are that good. Of course, I picked nice looking shots for the screens, but it's a pretty good reflection of the depth of colour and detail.

It got lousy reviews, but it's one of the best looking games on the XBox IMO, and on a projector some of the tracks are just stomach turning :D It drives well too - and the AI is solid
