Does the Panasonic DVD S97 play Dual Layer Discs ?

    I have a couple of films which I would like to burn os dual layer dvd's. I was wondering if my dvd player (S97) supports dual layer dvd discs. If anyone has any experience with this pls share

    I think you'll find that almost every pre-recorded dvd in existence is dual layer (usually states so on the case). So, yeah, it bloody well ought to. :D

    Although all commercial disks are dual layer, I believe there can be problems for some machines reading "home-made" dual layer disks - I guess the only way you might find out is to try it.

    Videohelp claim mixed success with varyig dual layer disks. Traxdata apparently do work.
