Apologies for what is probably a dumb question. I've never had one of the coloured Apple iPods before and when I linked it up to my computer, an image of the iPod appeared on the screen in the same colour (red). Do the images match the colour of the actual iPods, or is this just coincidence?

I think it's deliberate, my iTunes shows a black iPod classic, which is what I have.

Yep, all our iPods/ iPhones appear on screen in the correct colour (or at least a close approximation of). Typical Apple!

Many thanks for the replies. Yep, just the sort of thing we expect from Apple.

Yes, but try getting some replacement ear caps for the new Dual Driver earphones.......... No joy at all. Looks like Apple think we should buy a new £54 set of earphones.

I did actually only buy mine 2nd hand for £25 but wife "cleaned" away my spare caps and now realise I need the medium not large for best fit

At least I can use some Shure silicons I have but its not the point  I want spares.

Same with Denon. I agree - it just doesn't make sense.
