Does my PJ need a upscaling DVD player ??

    Hi I Have the HD72i PJ which supports 720 HDTV. is it worth me buying a upscaling DVD player ??

    2 be honest I need to buy a new DVD player any way so do you think it would be worth buying a upscaling dvd player ??

    your thoughts ?

    Running a 720p output (and the HD72i in 720p mode) will make for a very clean image. But don't let it limit your choice, the scaling in the HD72i is quite good as it is and by only looking at upscaling players you might miss out. Best example Arcam DV79 - doesn't upscale but whups Denon 3910 and Pioneer 989!

    Also - bear in mind cost of HDMI/DVI cabling, will get expensive over long runs...
