    128mb ATI PCI-EXPRESS X300SE
ASUS Motherboard with built in sound
    DVD -/+ RW 8x Drive

A decent graphics card and more RAM would be a good place to start

yep maybe the Gfx card alot more so than RAM. only real game that thrives on RAM is BF2. firstly that X300 aint gonna break any gaming records im afraid its a budget GFx card. the main thing is what are you willing to spend and we can take it from there ? i could easily recommed you a PCI-E 6800GT or ATi X800XL but if you dont want to pay that then its anyones guess we need to spend your money  its what we are best at

If you can afford it go up to 2GB ram and get a decent 6800gt or X800/X850 graphics card. If you have just won the lottery you could get one of the new 7series Nvidia cards instead.
