Does anyone know if they do?
Particularly the Aventos.
Some shop do and some shop dont. But I should think if your shop doesnt, they could be able to get you one if another store sell them
I have e-mailed John Lewis but they have contacted the relevant dept - so I'll post when I get a reply.
Just got reply (edited):
'Thank you for your enquiry about Loewe televisions. We do not display these sets at X but we can obtain to order.'
So if my KV32FX66 replacement (arriving today) buzzes like my current one;
Loewe Aventos here we come!
I was going to get your telly from JL and try and get the price match and FREE DVD player. But reports in this forum of buzzing and imminent discontinuation of the model are putting me off.
JL can get you any model from their usual marques, but, unless available in their showrooms, they do not price match special orders.
So shall I order a fx66 or wait? Are there going to be any good deals at Easter?
I got my 32FX66 from JL.
Service has been great so whatever you do I recommend them.
I'm hoping that my replacement will be ok but due to the fact that I'm not happy with the Sony I'll try and get JL will price match on a Loewe (as I have found one the same price I payed for the FX66) even though it will be a special order (and minus a stand!)
Apart from the buzz the TV is great.
As expected Sky Digital can be grotty due to compression (although this seems to be getting better.)
DVD's look great (even though it's the Xbox I use) and a few minor gliches I was hoping I'd sort out via the service menu (haven't though.)
Personally if you like the look of the FX66 try to get JL to price match & get one - the 'Sony Buzz' doesn't seem to be model specific or likely to be fixed.
If you can be patient (ie. up to 6 months) wait to see if people complain about the new models and get one of those.
I'll let you know if my new set has the buzz!
