    Hey all.

I have a 20GB 4G Ipod and my girlfriend has just bought the new Nano. Can we both use Itunes on same PC with two different Ipods? If so, can somebody advise how its done??

    Thanks

    Blue ;)

I think the safest way to keep your libraries of music separate is to create different user logons for Windows XP, then you have 2 instances of iTunes installed on the computer each with it's own library.

Why didn't i think of that?! I Did have two accounts setup at one point but was having problems sharing internet connection between them. I guess it makes sense though. I will experiment.

    Thx

I have two user areas also, they take thirty seconds to set up. I have it set so my brother has a limited account, so his area is really just a big storage area for itunes and whatever other crap he puts there, he can't change any of the settings or anything.

iTunes will support two iPods, at least it does for me.
I don't allow the iPods to auto synch and manual add and delete tracks so there is no problems with both iPods having to have the same tracks.
They can both be docked at the same time, showing as different iPods in iTunes as they have different names.
