I was just wondering if someone could tell me if it's ok to leave the amp on all the time wilst watching tv (sky) in Dolby pro logic. Dolby Digital etc?
As i've noticed it switches between sound formats all the time automatically even on some adverts!

I.E. from dolby digital to lcpm on sky hd!

Or can it harm or put strain on the amp!!?!

It'll do no harm whatsoever mate! Just make sure there's plenty of air flow round the amp.
