Hi folks, am having to get rid of my humax freesat box because trees are blocking the satelite. I am thinking of getting a T2 freeview box, do these have the same user interface as the foxsat and also can they be "enhanced" with software. Finally do they have any on demand features.

Thanks in advance

The only on demand offering on the T2 is BBC iPlayer. You may prefer the Humax YouView receiver, with on demand services from the BBC, ITV, Channel4 and Channel 5 - and soon Dave.

Hi.
The FoxsatHDR and HDRFoxT2 have quite different interfaces, though there are quite a few similarities in the way things work. The remotes are pretty similar even if some of the buttons are in different places...

Does this connect via aerial or a sky dish?
Thanks

Youview is a Freeview based service - so a conventional aerial is required.
