Does GameBoy Advance have NTSC/PAL regions ??

Hi.
I'm thinking of getting a new GameBoy Advanced SP. (very compact, and nice looking design, BTW)

But difference in NTSC/PAL region worries me. Until now, I've never owned PAL version of any consoles. Only imported them from JPN and US.

I understand that consoles are region specified because TV systems used in different regions. But GBA doesn't get connected to any TV, so...I'm wondering if it indeed is unversal (not region specific) ?

If it is universal, then I'll pick one up at local HMV or Virgin! And import future games if the titles are released in Japan, and US before Europe!

Could anyone advice me on this issue ?

It's universal - every incarnation of the Gameboy has been. Buy a PAL SP and import away .
