I am struggling a bit without this, is anyone else? Why didn't sony include a second analogue stick - first person shooters would surely hve benefitted from a 2nd stick?

If you look at various pics of PSP opened up, you can see there is no room underneath. Sony really crammed everything into the frame

Maybe for the PSP 2 in 4/5 years, when Sony miniturise the technology. They've done it with PSone and PS2 slim

I think (and i'll probably get slated for this  ) that having two analogue sticks would make the psp unstable in your hands. When you use the analogue sticks you don't use your thumb to hold the psp as firmly as you do when using the digital ones. Could cause more deadly (and expensive) drops?

Having not played Coded Arms (yet), I can't comment. However, Goldeneye on the N64, universally acclaimed as one of the best FPSs ever, only used one analog stick.

But how can you simultaneously walk/strafe/look at the same time without having two left hands?

Left hand has always been for walking backwards, forward and side stepping (strafe), with the right hand for looking up and down.

Now we have em both stuffed over on one side??

(I know the N64 had it in the middle but you get where im coming from)
