Does anyone know when the new Toshiba WLT56 models are due?

    Hi, I was wondering if anyone knows when the new Toshiba WLT56 models are due, more importantly the 20WLT56?

    i just rang tosh, they are due in sept, so any day now. The 17" has been dropped, with no planned replacement, but a chance of one before Xmas.

    just saw my 32wlt58 in the store i ordered mine from all boxed up they said that they will deliver it for me tomorow so i will let you now what its like :clap:

    I hope all the expectation and anticipation is worthwhile.

    What sources are you able to confirm connectivity & performance with?

    Main concern for me is PC 1:1 pixel, via HDMI (DVI adapter).

    It does look sweet, even the styling of the stand is starting to grow on me.

    stlic i didnt get to see the actual tv because it was boxed up but it will be delivered tommorow afternoon i would have asked but it was busy, i do no though that toshiba are have problems shipping the cabinets which are causing the delay but he managed to get mine without the cabinet but said the cabinet will follow which i didnt need anyway

    Thanks for the info about dropping the 17" model. My Mum wants one for her kitchen.

    Do you mean the 17WL56? I Googled for it and found Toshiba's 2005 UK catalogue here:

    and it does include the 17WL56, seems to be the same as the 17WL46 with the addition of component inputs and better speakers.

    One store even quotes a price for it http://www.robinsonselectric.co.uk/toshiba.asp. They don't claim to have stock though.
