I have downloaded this programme tonight and put in what films I have but I do not know how to save it and and create a link for people to view on here.
I can not see an option for me to save or anything :(

Yes, loads of people use it here.

Your collection is saved automatically, so don't worry about that. You can back it up from the File menu if you want to.

To upload your collection, choose Online | My Profiler from the menu and follow the process through. You will need to log into their website at www.dvdprofiler.com to enable viewing of your collection on line, set the various options (enable adult collections, or no one will see your 18 or NC-17 rated movies), and to create a link for you to put into your signature.

The only way I can view what films I have in my collection is by going to add film.
If I click on DVD from my profiler and choose to download my collection it says my collection is empty.

    CK,

You are missing some titles in your collection.

Enable adult titles in both the DVD Profiler program and on the website.

Because when I sorted your collection by collection number, some numbers were missing. Number 40 is still missing now but maybe this is because you entered a title and then deleted it?

Thank you for helping me. I hope my collection isn't too bad. I try to buy films I have not seen unless they are classics like Back to the Future, Jaws, Terminator and Die Hard films like that.

I only buy region 1 normally, I dont bother with buy one get one free region 2 I normally have it on region 1 months before it comes out on region 2.

I have a sony 900 player my next upgrade will be Denon amp 3803 I think it is called then I will get the Kef egg speakers. I think the system should be ok for a bedroom 9ft by 9ft

Why are you constantly worried about what other people think of your collection? Stuff everyone else - you like the films and that's all that counts! ;)

I was only messing. I like my collection I was just fishing for compliments :rotfl: . I do have some films I rather not have wasted my money on like Loser, Watcher, Undercover Brother and Traffic.

The Watcher and Undercover Brother are utter pants, have to agree with you there.

I love Loser and Traffic, both brilliant movies!!! I'd buy them off you but I have them already :D

If I were you, I'd be more worried about the copies of Deep Blue Sea and Driven that you have there :D Although, to be fair, I've not seen them :)

Driven is quite a good film. I am going to order Dagon, The Fog, Donnie Darko and Phone Booth tonight.
I want your views are they any good I would not mind Catch me if you can but I am not working at the moment but hopefully wiil have a job next week or week after working shifts in warehouse.

I buy films but only watch most of them once. £30 for The fog, dagon, Donnie Darko and Phone Booth seems like good value.

Oh my god you have 600 films where do you fit them all  .
I only have 80 odd and have been into home cinema for about 4 years.

I have great difficulty fitting them all in mate :( I have quite a few films that will be sold once I've watched them one or two times more so I'm not worried about space yet.

I thought The Fog was crap. I quite liked it when it first came out but it looks horribly dated now and dare I say it, is actually boring. I turned it off before the end as I couldn't take any more.

Donnie Darko is one of my favourite movies of all time. You might like it, you might not. The vast majority of people do.

I've not heard of Dagon and I've not seen Phone Booth.

Dagon's pretty cool imo. It's based on an H P Lovecraft short story. It's from the creators of re-animator so if you like this genre you should find it enjoyable.
Donnie D is a classic imo a must for any movie buff.

I wont bother with the fog I will buy Dagon, Phone Booth Donnie Darko and maybe Catch Me if you can.
I have a sony 900 player and was thinking of getting 3802 or the 3803 amp similar set up to one of the posters on here. You lot must be minted having 600 odd films and that set up.

I like this forum it is friendly, informative, people seem polite and willing to help. I like the fact a lot of people know what they are talking about wherre as other people are happy watching movies on a Playstation 2 or go to places like Dixon who dont have a clue what they are talking about.

I know a fair bit about home cinema and I know what DTS is etc but what is DTS EX. I thought it was DTS with extra speaker but if it was why not say 6.1 DTS rather than DTS EX.

I like action, thrillers, horror so I hope I will like the films I have mentioned buying.

Just posted a bargin in the special offer thread. 3 films for £20. I had to post it in there because I thought this would be the wrong forum. I just wanted to help some people as they have helped me in threads such as this.
I know not everyone looks at the special offer thread which is why i made a not in here pretty good films in the deal.

DTS ES can be Discrete or Matrix. If it's discrete, then you get proper 6.1 if you have a 6.1 receiver. If it's matrixed, then the rear centre is matrixed from the rear left and right channels. DD 5.1 EX is the same as DTS ES Matrix.

Catch Me If You Can is a brilliant film. It was a 9/10 for me. Totally enthralling and shocking, with some really funny moments.

If you're gonna keep paying £17.99 for new releases just so you get them in 1 or 2 days, then you'll always have to worry about how much you spend - unless you win the lottery  Order from cheaper suppliers, it takes longer but you can buy more DVDs for the same amount of money.

Dog Soldiers Region 3 is 4:3 I think.

I heard some people have problems with DVD soon and the films can take a while for the films to arrive.
