Hi, I'm kinda bored at the moment so I've decided I want to softmod my xbox. I was going to buy a divx player, but then thought this would be a better option. I'm not at all interested in playing pirated games or backing up anything dodgy, I just want to stream movies to my xbox (I have a 360 but have to convert everything to WMV first - d'oh!). My appeal is this:

I understand that once you have created a XBMC disk you only need to use it once to load the software to the xbox. Does anyone have a spare disk kicking around that they can drop in the post for me (I can cover the postage costs if needs be :))?

I will softmod the machine myself using Splinter Cell so that's not a problem :)

    Thanks!

Thanks, but I don't actually know what to do once i've downloaded this! I realise that sounds lame but i'm sure i'd mess it up trying to organise it onto a disk. I'd be really grateful if someone has one that they have already burned to disk that I could use.

I also want to softmod. However, while I have XBMC, I don't have the other tools.

If you agree, I'll send you the disc and when you're done, you can lend me the rest of the kit.

Please rest assured that I will return your stuff. I have feedback here and elsewhere.

So are you planning on running XBMC from a DVD all the time? Not great if you want to use it as a DVD player.

If not then you'll need to learn how to FTP to your XBox...then you might as well use the download link. That will be a newer version also.

All you gotta do is extract the RAR/ZIP file that XBMC came in and FTP it over (y).

Hope you get it sorted mate! If you need any help, feel free to ask!
