My friend had a blonde moment whilst in tenerife and bought a digital camera :suicide:

It's badged as a JVC MX 62 6.1 mpixels. I know JVC don't make this model and examining the Efsis, it states it's a Zoran Coach 1.0. I'm trying to determine what make this camera actually is. As far as I know Zoran are the chip makers. Here's the Efsis info for any of you techno dudes:

I thought maybe so too, but I couldn't see it in there. Coach 1.0 seems rather old, they seem to be up to version 7 now? The manual is for the camera but has no logo/make on at all, so I guess this camera is often badged as many makes. I cannot tell how many megapixels it has, maybe 3m?

She paid £220. About £200 too much I reckon.

I seen a watchdog program about a year ago, in which they warned viewers about buying cameras in tenerife, Benidorm and Lloret de mar, because of goods being of questionable quality.
These shops even had the cheek to call themselves Jessops, complete with identical shop fronts.

My sisters friend bought a camera from Aldi(the supermarket) in the uk for £159, it was called a quentis, and upon consulting a magazine, she found that it was actually a Minolta S304, rebadged and approximately half the cost!!..she was ofcourse very pleased.

That was an unusual scenario. usually the other way around! I just want someone who can understand the Exif data to say what camera it is, or at least what type and what it's worth :(
