Dodgy blurred text

Ive found that the text in the news channel is really hard to read. Its hard to describe. Its like a blur on ghosting effect. Its really mainly noticeable on the news bit. Have I got the wrong settings somewhere?

Would really need more info...
1. LCD, plasma or CRT
2. How is wii connected? (eg. composite, rgb, component)
3. If connected via component, what resolution are you running at?

If you are running to an LCD and you have your sharpness setting quite high, I would lower it quite a bit. Mine is set to 10 (out of 100) I like it really low as all the sharpness does is apply an artificial gastly looking outline around everything (at least on my set it does)

Ive got it connected to a lcd television just now. Originally I had it connected via the scart adaptor into the back of my Sky + stb but found the picture slightly better using the rgb leads straight into the side of the t.v

Im hoping the sharpness reduction might help the problem but gotta find the original remote for the telly. Going to dig it out the back of the cupboard tomorrow as ive been using my Sky remote.
