At the moment you'll need a credit or debit card. I think pre-pay cards are planned in the furue.

Do they have a lot of demos to download for free, similar to that of Xbox Live?

Just ordered my PS3 a few hours a go so I'm trying to get as much of an understanding of its features as possible.

Cool, is there a list of the available demos anywhere?
I notice Sony have tet to release an official PS3 headset yet. I'm in no rush for one of these as I don't expect to be doing much online gaming on it yet but if people hae found a common headset which does its purpose very well then I'd be interested in knowin about it for a possible future purchase.

I haven't seen Ninja Gaiden or Virtua Tennis. When were they released?

Do you have a US machine? So you may be seeing demos available on the US PS3 store.

You don't need a US console to access the US store. Even on a UK machine you can set up US, Hong Kong and Japanese accounts to acces the content on those stores. The VT3 demo is on the UK store just not on the main page. The Ninja Gaiden demo is on the Japanese, Hong Kong and US stores only. They were both released over the last 2-3 days.

Tekken 5 is a bargain at £6, as its the full game.

I do hate to be a pain so I don't expect answers to all of my Q's as I'm sure they've been covered over the launch period, a link would be appreciated if u don't fancy posting.

Excelent, background downloading is on PS3, at least I read somewhere it was.

Can you que downloads up.. like I might watch Ice Age 2 on Blu-Ray or play Resistance/Motorstorm offline.. while having multiple demos/trailers on the download.

Will certainly be downloading Tekken for £6 so long as it works with debit cards. I expect I'll just go the trial and error route for most things.

I would appreciate some tips on making a US account as I would love to download Ninja Gaiden Sigma demo, Ninja Gaiden was my favourite Xbox1 game after Halo - so certainly loking forward to it on PS3 :)

    Thanks again for posting :smashin:
