When watching dvds what have people found the most pleasing, lights on or off or dimmed or what? What suits plasma viewing best in your opinion?

When I had a crt I could'nt stand watching films in the dark but with a plasma it's great.
I still prefer a soft light in the room though.

I always watch DVD's in the dark unless I am eating. Does not have to be dark to get a good picture, just more like the cinema that way (but without the annoying gits talking behind you).
