As I just said to my Wii owning friend "If I wanted to play stupid kid games or pointless minigames by waving my arms around like an idiot I'd buy a Wii....."

Actually voted for the waiting for more info option as it could be cool if done well but could be a poor substitute to the Wii if done poorly

Massively on the fence. We gamers are a fickle bunch. One minute we are dead against something new, the next we can't imagine life without said game, peripheral, faceplate, motion controller. But for me a Maybe is closer to a yes then a no !

I'm also on the fence.

I sold my Wii last year as it simply wasn't used enough to justify what I'd spent on it. However, on occasions I miss the Wii, hence why Move intrigues me. To have the best of both worlds from one console is rather appealing - Less wires/mess & (hopefully) less money spent on hardware.

I'll wait until prices have been announced, reviews start pouring in, & until I've seen more demos of it in action with a large variety of games.

I've voted on the fence but will probably get it.

I'm mostly interested in using it for aiming as shown in the resident evil & socom demos, LBP looked good too.

It'll never replace the DS3, and I won't be getting games that make you jump all over the room, but those above should work by sitting down only with (hopefully) precise & more realistic aiming.

Got a Wii and since the novelty wore off, it's been gathering dust. On the other handm my PS3 gets used pretty much every day.

If it's anything like the Wii controller (which it appears to be from what I've seen to date), its a resounding 'No' from me.

I'll probably get it for the kids, but can't see myself using it to be honest. Its what put me off the wii- after a hard days work, I don't usually feel like diving around the living room!:D

I'm on the fence, if Sony and other Developers/ publishers can show that they are not going to have nothing but shovel ware mini game cack and actually use it in a meaningful way like in socom 4 then i may be interested.

I voted no as I don't intend to get one - motion control just doesn't appeal to me at all.

I may well change my mind if I hear good things about it or if they do something interesting with it though...

But as it stands I just don't see the point of flailing my arms about for "realism" or exercise.

I am somewhat on the fence, but i expect i will get one for Tiger Woods and I expect EA to announce a tennis game of some sort which will make use of the controller. These two games alone would push me to pick the Move controller up. Especially if it comes in at around £60 with the camera, controller and bundled game.

Im wondering whether if they included Move and a Game for Free in a console bundle whether people potentially going to buy a Wii would be willing to spend a little more and get A LOT more with the PS3 or not.

Including it as standard is the only way I can see this working out. And it's maybe too late for that approach anyway.

This will be an optional extra for "serious" games and standard for some dedicated party/mini games (probably via PSN Store)

PS The "line of sight" thing seems to be more of an issue than first thought.

I thought it could work to some degree without the ball being seen because of all the gubbins inside the controllers themselves. Is there an actual issue then? I would have thought most of the time the controllers will be in front of you anyway.

There is a half hour video here of two germans playing the sports compilation and the mini game thing.

I hope that isn't the final Sports game as there is only about 6 sports that look to be pretty pointless. Although the table tennis game and the boule game look quite good lol

You may be right as the Wii controller seems to do okay (though it uses a different principle)

A fair few folk on Gamespot (sorry another forum) have been complaining since that video came along. Most stuff is just a matter of opinion but that did seem to be a genuine issue.

The proof will most definitely be in the pudding and this week's E3 should reveal much :smashin:

On the fence currently but it does look good.

I am interested, as long as you can use it in more than just mini games (specifically if I can improve my aim in FPS games) :smashin:

Nope, give me a proper controller. Can't play GT5/MW2 etc with a pointy glowing stick, and the wii style games don't interest me at all.

I'd also say that I'm even less interested in natal/K'nex/whatever it's called, one big stupid gimmick.

I'll be getting this and Kinect. :smashin:

Why? Because i always have to buy the next best thing. :suicide::smashin:

I think there is potential in both and although it wont replace the DS it will be a nice change now and then. And i'll sell my dusty wii to pay for them both.

No, motion control in general doesn't do it for me. I've not played the Wii for months, so I've little interest in Move or Kinect. I'm quite happy sitting in my comfy chair with a conventional controller.
