do you check out the quality of a hd dvd before you buy

or if it says hd on the box .do you just buy it.
i have
kingkong
enter the dragon
mi3 (on the way)
all have good quality ratings .i think if you just buy anything the movie studios
will put out any old rubbish and pass it off as hd dvd .

Fearless look amazing. The older movies that were not originally done in HD but rather "remastered" the original source are never going to look as good.
i.e. a christmas story

I usually check out reviews, but in the main if I like the film and can afford it, I will buy it.

Some borderline releases (Mission Impossible 3 for instance) are bought on the strength of their picture quality reviews.

Nothing will make me buy Hulk though. :rotfl:

isnt that why will all have brought hd dvd players .on the strength of the picture quality. what the point buying a movie again unless its a big improvement on the sd dvd version.
