Do mini PCI-e Cards TV Cards work with PCI-e slots

AND, most importantly, do any have 7MC Compatability?

mini pcie cards are tiny, They are the ones that are used for the wifi card in laptops so don't think they fit in a regular desktop pcie slot, don't know about 7MC compatability though
 
I believe all that's required is a form-factor adapter so that the Mini PCIe card can be mounted in a regular PCIe slot. In terms of signals and power, they are compatible.

You have to be careful though - some mini cards are actually USB, not PCIe, and are designed specifically for certain laptops.
 
Even if electrically possible, you then have to physically mount the thing and connect the tiny coax socket to a normal sized one mounted on the back of the PC.

And also... why bother?
 
Some of the recent Black Gold PCIe cards are incredibly tiny. They make a low-profile backplate look huge.
