Do I really need a set-top box? Samsung SVP-61L6HDL

I just looked at a Samsung 61" DLP HDTV. I'm in Korea so I couldn't
completely understand the salesman. But he said the TV did not have a
"set-up box" which I belive is a "set-top box". Do I really need a
set-top box? I was hoping only to hook the TV up to my PC and watch
downloaded HDTV content and OTA content.

Samsung, like most Korean companies, produce different products for
the local and overseas markets so its impossible to find English specs on this TV.

I am sure the salesman was talking about about set-top boxes as he
showed me the type of box I needed:

Samsung - Digital Set-top Box: Digital Terrestrial Receiver

SIR-K451

No English manual available!

The RP TV is a Samsung SVP-61L6HDL and again there are only Korean
user manuals available.

Again, is it necessary to have a set-top box?

Thanks,
