Do I really have to buy a £200 ceiling mount?

Hi!

I'm planning on buying a projector, and I'll have to get it ceiling mounted because of too small floor space. I'm on a bit of a tight budget and can't really see why a simple ceiling mount will have to cost me 2/10 of my budget.
That's why I have decided that I either have to go for a 2nd hand projector with ceiling mount included in the price, or I'll simply have to make one myself.
So I'm wondering what you guys are using? Have you all bought an original ceiling mount or did you make your own?
Is it easy to make one?

All suggestions appreciated:)

Best regards

Or you could get one of those video/tv wall brackets, like I and a couple of mates have and then mount the projector upside down in the video bracket leaving the upper shelf for your DVD player.

Availabe from B and Q, about £30.

Thanks for the advice guys!
I'll report back later with my solution, and how it went...
