I've been looking for a new cabinet for my TV and AV stuff. I'm probably going for the AVF Buckingham 1100. This is an open fronted (but enclosed back) cabinet and I propose housing:

1. Technics SU-V300M2 amplifier
2. BT Humax DTR-T4000 (500GB) PVR
3. Humax HDR-1100S Freesat PVR (although this may be replaced with the new version soon)
4. BT SmartHub 2 router
5. RPi
6. I may add a cheap blu-ray/DVD (Sony BDPS3700B) if the kids decide they want to watch DVD's again.

It will be situated in a corner so there'll be plenty of space behind it.

My current cabinet which houses 1 to 3 above has an open back but glass doors on the front. Occasionally, I hear the fan on the DTR-T4000 kick in for up to 15-20 minutes at a time. I've never noticed if the Freesat box or SH2 gets hot but I'm a bit concerned that putting the amp in the cabinet is going to cause heat problems. So, I guess my question is, do I need additional ventilation?

I noted another thread on here that mentioned the AC Infinity fans and I'm fairly sure that an S3 would suffice if required at all?

Can anyone advise please?
