Do I have Quad LNB?

Novice Member
Hi, at the moment I have sky+, and we can record two programs at a time. Im wanting to buy a sky hd box, without going through sky and I want to make sure that all the cables are ok and that I have the correct lnb for sky hd. I had sky+ installed about 6 years ago.

You dont need a quad lnb just switch the cables over at the box, you only need a quad if you have multiroom more than 2 feeds, you can tell if youve got a quad fitted by looking at the lnb where your cables connect if there is any spare connections its a quad.

You'll almost certainly have a quad, I don't think they installed many, if any, duals.

And yes, ultimately if Sky+ works, so will HD
