The Home Entertainment Magazine gave the TOSHIBA (sd-900 i think) DVD Player the award for 2001

My question is do most people agree or should i
    a) bebuying something else
    b) wait a month because something better is coming along?

I quite like the dvd audio/sacd function as an added bonus (despite lack of support for them)

The SD900 is a superb player but doesnt have SACD. There are rumours of a replacement for it soon so I´d be inclined to hang on a while.

If you dont want to wait, then go for it as its really a stonking machine!!

did some research new player will be called the TOSHIBA 950E and is a direct upgrade of the 900E. They do not know if it will support SACD but definately still DVD AUDIO.

Probably just got someone in trouble by telling you all this... :)
