I’m going to buy a Yamaha 750 and KEF eggs from Creative Audio today as I live local. On there Web site they quote £1070 with a cable pack.

What I was wondering is will they knock any more money off if I haggle or pay cash?

I will probably also buy some more cables and the stands as I starting from scratch.

Any Experience of any deals they do?

When I have spoken to them in the past, they would offer deals on items not on their website. Not sure if they would take money off their bundles though. I suppose if you wave some cash then they may take a small amount off, but I wouldn't have thought it'd be too much!

I have used them twice so far, once for mail order (I live in Cornwall), second time shop visit (demo AVR300, DV 79 and AELITE 5.1).

When I added their customer service to the value of their bundles that swung it for me.

I don't know about further cash off but they do seem willing to exchange superfluous items in their bundles for useful kit (HDMI cable + M1 adaptor in place of interconnects which I already owned).

They always seem busy so well worth phoning and booking the demo room before you visit.

Kef cant be bought online anyway - they dont allow it. Therefore that deal on the web, really only exists in store. i suppose if youre buying more stuff then they could knock some off of that. I dont know what my point is or if that is the case, but thought i'd mention it !

I thought if i was paying cash they might knock the credit card handling fee off?

Probabley worth £30 would fund some cable with it.

Creative Audio do some pretty good deals anyway.

I can also vouch that the customer service is superb.
