Do any of the ISPs allow trade off of download for upload speed

Hi,

This may be a question that has been asked before, but I can't seem to find an answer when I google (perhaps people phrase differently).

I am considering getting fibre broadbank with plusnet (but could do BT or Sky) and the linechecker says 7mb upload and 45mb download. What I want to know is if it is possible to / if they will allow you to vary this for better upload speeds. ie. make downloads 32.5 to get uploads to max of 19.5?

Reason being is I want to be able to stream my high def movies when away from home and at 7mb it isnt worth the change.

I don't thinks so but fibre speeds are 80 down and 20 up, if your line can support ist you will get 20 up anyway. 7mb is still plenty for HD movies though

No you cannot trade download for upload speeds.
