I currently use PS3 Media server to watch all my video files on my TV through my PS3.

I am looking to get a new TV and I see that most have DNLA to stream video.

Is this any good or is it dependent on the TV.

I only really use the PS3 for this and for Blu-rays but I am also getting a standalone Blu-ray player as I need something multi-region as my existing DVD player is about to give up the ghost.

Alternatively, are there any blu-ray players that do a good job of streaming from he PC?

    Cheers,

    David

I use the Plex app on my Samsung TV and its lovely :) Much better than the built in 'DNLA'

Might be worth a look at.

But it does depend on the TV
