Hi!

I was on the official ps forums and heard DMZ described as "kind of a seperate channel on your wireless so your playstation doesn't get as much interference on your network". Is this true?

If my sister dares go on the Internet with her ipad then my Black Ops 2'ing is practically over with lag and connection interrupted. I've looked at limiting her bandwidth but can't do it on airport express so I'm looking at this DMZ stuff. Will it help?

Aside from the ipad (or my brother) causing me problems with them hogging the network everything works fine (when I'm on my myself). I get open nat and all that jazz.

Anyone got any ideas?

Well I did it and played with my mate and we had no disconnections so it seems better! Very happy.

It opens up all the ports basically needed for what ever application you are using.

EA Sports games used to be particularly prone to needing ports opened for online matches. Think they've sorted it now as I don't see so many people having issues with them.
