Hello everybody was wondering has anybody used Maxell 4.7GB RAM type 2 or 9.4GB ram type 2 discs? Can they be used with the Panasonic DMR E20. Thank you.

I too have only used Panasonic RAM media. I don't see why there should be any problem with Maxell media. After all who else would they be targeting at the moment but Panasonic RAM recorder users.

Maxell is a good brand name. If I wanted another RAM disc and it was Maxell that were the cheapest I would have no problem purchasing one.
