CAN ANYONE HELP PLEASE?

I HAVE RECENTLYBOUGHT A DMR-HS2 RECORDER AND HAVE CONNECTED IT UP TO MY SKY+ BOX USING A FULLY WIRED SCART.
THE SKY+ BOX HAS RGB ENABLED IN THE SERVICES SECTION AND THE HS-2 HAS RGB IN ENABLED IN THE AV2 IMPUT.
HOWEVER I AM RECEIVING NO PICTURE. WHEN I REVERT THE IMPUT IN THE HS-2 TO VIDEO THE PICTURE RETURNS. IF I PUT THE SKY BOX TO PAL INTHE SERVICES SECTION I STILL GET NO PICTURE WITH THE AV2 ENABLED TO RGB IN.
ANY SUGGESTIONS ANYBODY?

Hi Jim

Strange one this. In the literature it states RGB in on Scart 2.

I am concerned about this. I have ordered one to use with my free to air terresterial box which obviously has RGB out on SCART.

Can anyone shed any light onto this ?

Regards

Tom.

Hi Tom

I am advised by Sky that the AV out put from the Sky + box is not enabled for RGB.
The work round for this is to connect the TV out put from Sky to the AV imput on the Panasonic recorder, then set it up for RGB imput.
Ihaven,t tried it yet and so I don,t know if you can still view sky in RGB mode without having the DMR-hs2 switched on.

Tom:
I have today hooked up my DMR-HS2 to record via scart from my Grundig terrestial freeview set top box. It seems I cannot record anything from the set top box onto HD or DVD. I get a message "Copying of this material is not allowed". If I use an old Ondigital box instead of the Freeview box, I am able to record OK.

I'd be interested to hear if you get the same problem.
