Hello
complete novice here.

In Costco at the mo they have the 2 recorders at £152 for the panasonic and £176 for the Sony.
I would like some help in deciding which one please?

I would like to continue to use my phillips divx player just for the divx movies I have and also have a recorder available is that possible?
I have a Sony camcorder and want to transfer some footage to a disc.
It needs to be fairly easy to use. On the Specs some say the panasonic hase DV-in others say it doesn't.
I have a Sky+ box already.
Please can somebody help me decide?
Thanks

The ES20D does not have a DV in socket on mine altho my EH60D does.

Both have the integrated freeview + analogue tuners. Not sure about the Sony. I do know that the Sony 710 and 910 ONLY have a freeview tuner (no analogue).
