DMR-EH60D and analogue loop through to TV

Established Member
Does anyone know when you are recording on a DMR-EH60D if the recorder will loop through an analogue signal via the coax lead through the recorder to the TV, enabling you to watch a TV programme at the same time the DMR-EH60D is recording from the internal Freeview decoder. If so, does the loop through functionality work when the recorder is also in standby?

Yes (as in: the analogue signal is still passed through to be received by your TV's analogue tuner). My TV is analogue-only, so I couldn't say whether an IDTV would still be able to receive Freeview when the EH60D is otherwise engaged, but I'd think so. To clarify: what you can watch is down to the TV but the EH60D doesn't block its passage. The EH60D's own tuner is tied to what it is recording of course.
