DMR-BS750EB

My DMR-BS750EB blu-ray disc recorder has stopped recording tv to hdd. When I setup recording all seems normal, clock icon lit up on screen,but red light on recorder keeps flashing when the program should be recording. When I try to play in direct navigator it appears the prog hasn't recorded.Can anyone tell me what may be wrong, and if it can be fixed.

Give the unit a power reset: Disconnect it from the mains for at least 15 minutes... then try again.
