DSE in Newcastle are very good, i went with a friend to look at a PJ and was very very impressed with the dem rooms .Its not a normal shop but two fantastic dem rooms for people looking for a custom install job so ring before going to see if anyone is there to do the dem.

They will dem with no obligation - they seem happy to just show off. IMHO, I think you would benefit from a 'professional' side-by-side demo of a number of projectors. Seeing one alone will leave you wondering if Brand X might have been better.

As you can't get hold of DSE, it might even be worth taking a couple of hours drive over to:

(aka http://www.discounttv.co.uk)

If you call them, you can arrange to demo the model(s) you are interested in side-by-side
