    hello folks,

im looking to upgrade, i currently have a sony crt ( kv36fs70 ) with a pioneer nsdv88 all in one, connected via s-video,

i cannot decide whether to go down the plasma or rear pro route, the tosh 46 looks good and is very tempting at the price, but how does it compare to the crt i have now? ( which im very happy with )

will the pq be as good? hdmi and hdtv ready would be nice, and having a 46" screen sounds great, but not if pq is degraded.

any help would be appreciated

the fan noise is something to be considered on DLPs, mine kicks up a hell of a noise with 3 fans inside it.

I have a Sagem Axium which is almost impossible to hear running, even standing very close to it.
For overall picture quality I have not yet seen anything better. Regardless of price.

    Phil Harris,

What do you normally watch on your Axium? What is your feed, i.e. dvd, Sky, analog?

How is analog signal when viewed on the Sagem?
