Currently have sharp XV-Z90E DLP and Harmon Kardon HD25 feeding prog scan. Have opportunity to consider upgrade in new purpose made room (7m x 3m) Will be using a 160 x 90 cm screen.

Am thinking of infocus screenplay 5700 and Denon 2910 to use HDMI feed.

Any views, worth the expense ? Seems best prices for both is 1800GBP AND 500 GBP.

Any ideas of what my existing kit may raise second hand (both about 2 yrs old)

    Any feedback appreciated

I would go with the optoma H57 at 4000:1 contrast ratio(same price as well and near silent). have demoed the infocus and was not impressed. I would also reconsider the dvd player as the 2910 does suffer from MB a fair bit more than the 3910(yet to see it myself as only some of the resolutions are effected on the 3910).

Excuse my ignorance what is MB ?

"I would go with the optoma H57 at 4000:1 contrast ratio(same price as well and near silent)".

Where is the best place to source/demo. I live in leicestershire and I am not aware of any dealers who stock Optoma or Infocus for that matter in the immediate area.

Thanks for all the advice guys, any thoughts on the basic question - the basic upgrade is going to cost around £2000. Am I really going to see a vast
    difference ?
