Hi there I know you must get alot of these types of questions but hopfully this one is slightly more interesting than just sony ve panny. I have not seen anything but office data projectors in action upto now and was looking to spend hopfully less than £1500 on a home cinema projector but which looks best DLP or LCD? I don't know weather I or my family will see the rainbow features available on some DLP projectors but I get the impression that for my kind of money I will get a better quality LCD PJ than DLP PJ. ie. higher resolution etc. Are DLP PJ's for under £1500 any good because the prices are normally £3000+, what are you compromising when you pay less - most seem to have lower resolutions. I am unable to find anywhere in the south east that has a range of both LCD of DLP PJ's to compare. So I was going to buy off spec. (and what you guys think). My current plan is to wait for reviews of the new AE700 and if it is good then just buy it and never look at another PJ again! So what do you think?
