    Hi Guys.

As the Native resolution for most of these RPs is 1280*720, I was wondering if this boads well for Native resolution at 720P. Is it known if you can switch of the intenal scaler and use an external scaler, something like an ISCANHD+ or Lumigen scaler, in particular I'm thinking of the Optima RD50.

    Thanks

    Chris

If you feed it at 720p via the digital video connection, then the internal scaler should be by-passed.

not necesserily, if you can't switch off the internal digital processing, then the source signal will still be analysed, processed and re-built into somthing inferior to the original external HQ scaled source.
