    Hi

I am new to these forums but am in the middle of totally overhauling my current systems. The one major area of concern (as it is the centre piece of any system) is the screen.

I had reviewed many LCD's and Plasma's and had come to the conclusion that a 42" plasma (pioneer or panasonic) was the way to go ............... then along comes DLP!!!

From the title of this thread you will see that I am looking for a DLP monitor - I do not need all the TV/digital paraphenalia as that will be provided from other sources. So the question:

"are there any 42" DLP monitirs available??"
(my wall can accomodate less than 42" but not more)

    Regards,

    Phil

The simple answer I think is no. Although all of the DLPs can be used as monitors (VGA or DVI connections) none, to my knowledge, have less than a 45 inch screen size. If you really want DLP, then a projector may be your best bet.

I'm not aware of any in the UK, however there are monitors (basically the TV's without the tuners - with other functions/connections) available in the USA.

The whole idea of DLP is for HD vision - therefore most screens are 45"+
