Have noticed that most people in this forum have a Sky box as well as a DLP.

Like most people, i'm finding that Sky blown up onto 50+ inches does not look too great.

I have one of the bog-standard "launch" Sky boxes which just had two scart sockets and nothing else in the way of outputs. Just wondering what everyone else is using to connect their Sky boxes to their DLP and whether it makes any difference?

Is it worth just getting a better scart cable?

Thanks.

Most definately. Garbage in = Garbage out. Getting better scart leads with low signal loss and good connectors has always been advised to me. I found at least a 50% improvement in Picture Quality immediately I upgraded my std (supplied with the box) scart cables. Expect to pay £50-100 for anyhting half way decent from a high street shop (less on the web)

I use SKY as the main vehicle for all terrestial programs as well as the SKY programs and the signal on my 56" Sagem is nearly always good and strong

Cheers:hiya:

Thanks for the reply.

Also have a 56" Sagem so i'm thinking it's time to put my hand in my pocket and shell out for a decent scart cable.
