Hi can anyone help me to connect a normal video out plug (RCA) to a 15 pin VGA (Pc monitor) port, so that the display on my monitor can be shown on my tv.

A diagram or instruction of which pins to connect would be very helpfull.

(am i on the right track to find which is the composite and ground pins on the vga port to connect to the rca plug, but does connecting the pins 1,2,3 create this composite connection?) CLICK HERE FOR PIN INFO

    Thanks!!

Ok somebody correct me if I am wrong but first off RCA cables don't use RGB profiles like VGA does, and the highest res a non-HD TV can display is 640x480 pixels so VGA to RCA cables don't work. However, I do know that there is a company here in the states called AVerMedia that makes a convertor product for this task, but a desktop running at 640x480 is quite poor looking.

    Good Luck!

but adding 3 100 ohm resistors in a star network would generate mixed sync
from H and V. (or maybe 50 ohms would be better)
