I need a longer run subwoofer cable, was going to go buy one ready made. But I was just reading most standard coax will do the job. I've actually got a reel of FM/TV/Satellite aerial cable going spare in loft - decent quality stuff with copper foil and braid screen and thick solid core.

How well do you reckon this would work, for a 10m length if I stuck an RCA plugs on each end? As good as or close to a Mark Grant or Blue Jeans cable?

Yep, should be fine :smashin:

I don't subscribe to the cable thing, but even if I did, the concensus is that any differences can't be heard very well anyway, because of our limited hearing in the sub range.

As Badger says it'll be fine IMO. The only thing is it might be a little tricky to get in your RCA plugs as it may be slightly thicker than cable normally used with them.
