DIY Speaker Cables...best plugs??

    I'm going to make my own speaker cables and would appreciate some advice.

    so far I've narrowed it down to Neutrik Profi for one end, klotz 2.5mm speaker cable but need some advice for some high quality banana plugs for the other end. I think the klotz cable has an outside diameter of 6.5mm so would need to accept that.
    I'm pretty handy with a soldering iron so would prefer that form of connection to crimped

    Does any one have any advice on what I'm proposing and where I can get them from?..Dave
