    Folks,

I want to connect my pc to a Sony VPL-HS1 projector, problem is Sony want £80    for the cable (SIC-HS30). I have looked at price japan but their price is similar.

Can anyone help me along the diy route ? I have a cable which was supplied with the projector (composite+audio I think) which is terminated with sony's proprietary pj-multi connector.

Do you know what the pin-out is for the connector ?

    Thanks

It has composite, s-video and this proprietary connector.
Computer has composite/s-video out too, but I would prefer to use the projector's full resolution from the computer's vga out rather than composite/s-video if that's where you were heading.
