diy attenuation

    i seem to have too much gain from my cd player and i was wondering if there is a way to build somthing to stop it. i konw you can buy inline phono plugs but they are too exspensive. so can anyone help? thanks:D

    get a couple of 50k ohm preset pots and wire them into an old interconect,

    adjust the pot until you get the level you want,measure the resitance between 1 and 2 and 2 and 3 and replace the pot with 2 resistors on each channel
