    Hi guys

In my various browseing through the plasma forums i'm ready to order the Panasonic TH42PX60b with the curvy stand from Dixons website and i notice there is a box to put any discount codes in.

I'm sure i remember though can't recall which thread mentioned it but a code with NHS was talked about to input and get a discount.
    1. Anyone know what i'm rambling on about?
2.If it is a staff NHS discount scheme can only NHS staff members qualify (which i'm not) and if it is only staff and others use it could i get caught out? (nervous type here).
3.Any other codes know about which might make another small saving.

Set is priceing at a very reasonable £1387 with £24.99 pp , seems like a great deal already to me? , especially when Currys site seem to be chargeing £1799!

    Cheers.

You can put nhs192 in the discount code.

Also put Tiscali199 for free delivery;)

Great prices you will get but good luck with Dixons.

I gave up on them yesterday (had ordered a 37PX60 for £1004 but they :censored: me about and so I ordered elsewhere yesterday afternoon.

    My tv arrived this morning.

Try getting that service with Dixons lol. Great prices (with codes) diabolical service (for me anyway).

Thats the code i saw , thanks Dom.

I know what you mean about Dixons but in all honesty in the 30 years i've been dealing with our local Currys store i've had nothing but great service from them.

I know in store the staff may not all be totally clued up but if you know what your after and ignore the constant pressure to take out their MasterCare cover i'm usually happy enough buying from them :)

So if i use that NHS code i'm not going to get into any bother am i? I have visions of the Dixons driver asking for my NHS ID card before he gives me my nice new telly :(

Edit. Bloody nora , just put these 2 codes in and thats a saveing of £94.38 !!!!

You should be fine but you should also be aware that technically you are commiting fraud by using an NHS discount code or any other staff discount that you're not entitled to use.

Just tried to use these codes and both appear to have expired. I "tested" these a week ago without actually buying but seems like these are now RIP :thumbsdow

Any new code(s) for Dixons would be great!

The following codes work, though can't be used in conjunction AFAIK :

    PRUNNER10 - £10 off
    YAW271 - 5% off
    perkz20dix - £20 off £200 shopping
    perkz50dix - £50 off £500 shopping

The free shipping code TISCALI199 works no more :(

Are there any more active codes?

Hey, I would be miffed if Dixons staff troll these forums and seek out such posts. No good! :nono:

cheapest i can get get, is not at dixons, but at currys.(just noticed theyve knocked £200 off), but anyway,

    start price £1599

use code (found on www.plasma-tv-deals.co.uk) 783873CFP, to get down to
    £1344

then use PRFREEDEL to get free delivery

finally use YAW297 to get it down to £1276.80

i was going to use this method, but for an extra £128 JL price matched empire direct at £1404 for me, and having looked at warranties, that could have been an extra £370

Dixons is no longer listed for a discount on the NHS site...Currys still are, though it's not a valid code for Dixons.
