Hi everyone, welcome to me first post.

I bought a KISS DP-1000 a few months back and all seemed well.

Now though if I put in a DIVX DVD with multiple episodes on it will freeze at 3.35 mins and need power cycling.

If you skip past the offending time zone it will play fine.

I have used many different makes of dvd, and ones recorded on other writers than my own but to no avail.

Can anyone help, if this is a firmware glitch then fine I will just have to wait for a new version. But if it is a hardware problem then it can go back.

My DP-1000 has the toshiba drive, and has been been updated to the latest version of firmware so I could make it multi region.

Hope one of you AV brains know what going on. :smashin:

Can't help with any useful info, I have a 450 but rarely play DivX files, but maybe it'd be useful to post this also on KiSS Forums in case it's a known problem.

Looks like there is a piece of hybrid firmware that should fix problem.

I will try it out and let you know. :smashin:
