    Hi
Need some help as I am unsure of a solution.

I have my partner moving in and she has a surround sound system (dvd player and speakers 5:1) but i want to continue to use my separate Divx DVD player to play downloaded AVI films.

Can I have it set up that the divx player plays through the surround sound system, is it easy or complex.

Bear in mind i am quite a newbie on this so basic set up information maybe required

    Thanks

    Dan

Hi I have just connected my divx DVD recorder to my Denon AVR and use it just to show divx films on my TV. I connected using two leads a scart socket to my TV and a digital coaxial aerial to my amp.

I have three DVD players connected all using either Optical audio connector or digital coaxial audio. One is a Denon for pure films, another is a combo DVD and VHS player and the third is my Mustek DVD recorder that plays divx.

    They all work fine
